Greetings, Programs and all you Star Wars fans!

In this special edition of TechnoRetro Dads, we sift through Satka’s reports from Celebration Europe II from Essen, Germany to bring you just a bit of the experience that is a Star Wars Celebration.  With highlights from Kathleen Kennedy and Dave Filoni, we talk about what we can expect in the bonus content from Star Wars: The Clone Wars as well as the highly anticipated Star Wars: Rebels and then get just a bit ofinsight into what Episode VII will look like in 2015.  Although it’s impossible to consolidate a Celebration into an hour-long podcast, maybe you can feel like you were part of the event for just a little while.

May the force be with you!

Greetings, Programs!

Hey, hey, hey, it’s TechnoRetro Dads.

The Lantern City illustrated novel is hitting mailboxes this week after their introduction at SDCC, new Hasbro Star Wars figures are hitting retail, and the Ewok Adventure hits some highs and lows in this week’s TechnoRetro Dads.

This week is The Final Countdown to the launch of MTV (that’s Music Television to those of you who have the mistaken idea that it’s about reality TV).

So get out your Honeycomb serial and sit down with Bill Cosby for a Saturday morning viewing of Fat Albert (after spending seventy-seven minutes with shazbazzar and JediShua, of course).

Greetings, Programs!

Not a three-hour tour, so to speak, but the results were the same -- the Renegade and Paige have become stranded on an island and have to team-up to get back to Argon City.

In their “isolation”, they have time to consider the hostility between them and the reasons behind it.  We are privileged to discover some tidbits from Paige’s past that show us why she feels a bit “isolated” from just about everyone.  (Who knew she was a musician?  or a Med Program,
for that matter?)

What do you think?  Are the ISOs the cause for isolating yourself from your past and the things that make you who you are?

High Adventure lyricist Spencer and trumpeter Meghan the TechnoRetro MOM join SHAZ and SHUA for a WICKED COOL, TOTALLY TUBULAR look at TRON: Uprising “Isolated” on this episode of TRON: Decodin
g the Grid.

Greetings, Programs!

This week, we cover TRON: Uprising “Identity”.

The identity of the Renegade as well as the future of the Uprising is endangered when an enterprising program swipes Beck's disc off his back and sells it in the "bad part of town" in Argon City.  Jovial Jay returns to help SHAZ & SHUA decode this episode of TRON: Uprising!

Finally, we turn the interview tables on Jimmy Mac of RebelForce Radio (and a host of other podcasts on the Shotglass Digital network) and get a RetroSpective of what makes the legendary podcaster tick.

Obi-Wan is in the news (and in a mind control history lesson as well), Shaun Cassidy is #1, Martian Night Life, and a fantasy story that never ends.

Start your work week with TechnoRetro Dads!

Gushing about George Lucas?  Of course.  Plus, shazbazzar and JediShua go Monster watching with their families and end up in an extended look at pixels, er, rather, Pixar.  Plus, a look at some video games and video game movies.

All this, and Aluminum Boy, too!  Before you head off to work this morning, make sure to download TechnoRetro Dads.  It just makes Mondays better!

Greetings, Programs!

The Renegade is in a race against time to save programs and friends when TESLER drills too deeply into Argon City’s energy supply.  Pitted against the imminent destruction of the city and shutting down the drill without harming his friend ZED who has entered an underground race in the tunnels of the grid, Beck has to balance stealth, timing, and every ability to meet his most difficult challenge to date.

Craig Batts and Sheldon Norton join the discussion this week as we get to the heart of “Blackout” in this third episode of TRON: Decoding the Grid.
